Mohammad Amir alleged DC Multan of mistreating his family

Pakistani bowler Mohammad Amir has alleged the deputy commissioner (DC) of Multan, Rizwaan Qadeer, of mistreating his family. Amir demanded to punish Multan DC who behaved rudely to his family during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) game.

Mohammad Amir wrote on Twitter X that the rude behavior of Multan DC shocked him and alleged Mr. Rizwan mistreated his family by arrogantly claiming to own the pitch and kicking them out during a game.

According to Amir, this is a terrible use of power. He called for immediate action from authorities. He mentioned the new Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif to take action against the DC Multan.

Pakistan is currently hosting the ninth season of the Pakistan Super League. The alleged incident happened at Multan Cricket Stadium. However, Multan Sultans defeated Mohammad Amir’s team Quetta Gladiators by 13 runs.

The first matches of PSL are taking place at the same time in both Lahore and Multan. Quetta Gladiators selected Mohammad Amir after being dismissed by Karachi Kings. He has been a part of Karachi Kings since the inaugural season, 2016.

However, Mohammad Amir was the second choice of Quetta Gladiators in the Platinum round. Amir retired from international cricket in December 2020. He is currently playing in leagues throughout the world.

According to former Pakistan Cricket director, Muhammad Hafeez, Amir has no aspirations to return to international cricket. Muhammad Hafeez met personally with Amir to encourage him to participate in international cricket if he wanted to represent Pakistan again. However, Mohammad Amir terminated the request for Hafeez to play again for Pakistan on an International level.

During a media interaction last year, Mohammad Amir announced his retirement. He said it was time for the new generation to step forward and play for Pakistan. He stated that he has retired as he is older now. Since the Pakistani Cricket team includes some younger members.
