The pride of Pakistan Haider Ali qualifies for Paralympics Paris 2024 after achieving a gold medal in the ongoing Asian Para Games. Haider won the gold medal on the 26th of October Thursday in Hangzhou. The Asia Para Games are currently ongoing in China.
Haider representing Pakistan made three attempts which were not successful. But in the last fourth attempt, he made a great throw of 51.23m and got the gold Medal.
Along with Haider, Japan’s Yamato Shimbo secured the silver medal and China’s Zhang Xuelong secured the Bronze medal. Yamato made a throw of 49.70m while China’s Zhang made a throw of 48.26m.
Haider Ali tweeted and announced his great success and congratulated Pakistan tagging the sports boards of Pakistan.
Many people around the world and Pakistanis congratulated Haider for its great success in the Asian Para Games. The caretaker prime minister of Pakistan Anwar ul Haq Kakar congratulated Haider on Twitter saying “It is an immense pride for all of us as Haider Ali secures the Gold medal in Discus throw at the 4th Para-Asian Games in Hangzhou, China!”.
Haider Ali Has won many medals for Pakistan in the past tournaments. He was the first Pakistani to win a gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics in Discus Throw. Haider’s achievement is not limited to discus throw. In fact, he also won a silver and bronze medal during the 2008 and 2016 Paralympics.
After his great contribution to Pakistan in the past, Haider Ali qualifies for the Paralympics Paris 2024. We wish him great success in the future!
