ANP leader Asfand Yar Ali’s wife passed away in Peshawar

Awami National Party (ANP) leader Asfand Yar Ali’s wife has passed away and laid to rest at Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The deceased was also the mother of Aimal Wali Khan, the provincial president of the ANP.

The ANP confirmed the news of her death on Twitter X. It posted the wife of Awami National Party chief Isfandiar Wali Khan and mother of provincial president Amil Wali Khan Ms. Bagzai Elahi has passed away.

Furthermore, the post mentioned they would announce the timings of the funeral prayers of the deceased later. May Allah grant the deceased a high place in His mercy (Amen). Later, her funeral prayers were scheduled at 5:50 p.m. today in Wali Bagh, Charsadda.

Condolences began to come following the death of Ms. Bagzai Elahi. Meanwhile, President Asif Zardari expressed his condolences to Asfandyar Wali Khan and his family following the death of Ms. Bagzai. He said his sympathies and prayers are with the grieving family in this hour of sorrow.

Similarly, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his condolences for the demise of Asfandyar Wali’s wife. Furthermore, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif extended her condolences over the death of Ms. Bagzai Elahi. She expressed sorrow to the family of Asfandyar and participated in their grief moment.

On the other hand, Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party President Abdul Aleem Khan has conveyed his condolences on the demise of Bagzai. He stated he became disturbed by the death of Asfandyar Wali’s wife.

Abdul Aleem also prayed that May Allah offer the deceased a place in heaven and patience to sorrowful families. However, it is unknown how ANP leader Asfand Yar Ali’s wife Ms. Bagzai Elahi passed away.

Asfandyar has not been doing well for quite some time. He distanced himself from active politics and refused to run in the previous general elections because of his poor health.
