Greek police revealed death reason of Michael Mosley, BBC journalist
Greek police revealed the death reason of BBC journalist and television presenter, Dr. Michael Mosley by presenting an initial post-mortem report. Michael is also a well-renowned British medical journalist.
There were several speculations ongoing regarding the death of Michael as he went missing for four days. They became further fueled when police found his dead body on June 9, 2024, in a rocky region on the Greek Island of Symi.
Konstantia Dimoglidou is a spokesperson for Greek police. According to Konstantia, no injuries on his body may have contributed to his death during the first post-mortem report.
He approximately passed away at 14:00 (British Standard Time) on June 5, 2024, on the day of his disappearance. Greek police spokesperson Konstantia revealed the death reason of Michael Mosley was due to natural causes.
Konstantia stated the death of Dr. Michael, was naturally based on the condition of his body. They have now requested histology and a toxicological report to determine the exact death cause of Michael.
BBC also showed footage of Michael Mosley appearing to vanish from view as he walked down a hillside near the location where police found him dead.
This footage was from Agia Marina beach bar, where 67-year-old Michael spent his last moments as he walked down a slope and vanished behind a wall.
He went missing at around 11:30 (British Standard Time) after he left Agioa Nikolaos beach island for a walk. After that, Greek officers searched widely for him.
Dr. Clare Bailey Mosley, the wife of Dr. Mosley, stated her husband did an extraordinary climb, took the wrong route, and collapsed. Hence, an extensive search team could not easily observe him.
Moreover, she honored her wonderful, funny, kind, and brilliant husband following the devastating discovery of his body. Their life was extraordinarily fortunate.
