Indian SC took sou moto action of assault on Gaurav Bhatia

The Indian Supreme Court (SC) took sou moto action for alleged assault on senior lawyer and BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia. Gaurav is a spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata National Party (BJP).

Attorney General R Venkataramani and a group of lawyers brought up this issue after which Indian SC took sou moto action and ordered a report from the district judge.

In addition, the Supreme Court issued a notice to the Gautam Budh Nagar district court bar association (Noida). The alleged incident occurred yesterday when Gaurav Bhatia arrived at the district court in Greater Noida’s Surajpur to appear in a case.

According to a letter from the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) to the Supreme Court, Gaurav was in the courtroom when lawyers of the Noida Bar Association misbehaved with him.

Meanwhile, bar association lawyers approached him and informed him of a continuing strike of lawyers in district court. Gaurav quickly acknowledged postponing his case hearing. Hence, the judges postponed his legal proceedings.

SCBA letter suggested despite the fact the case was postponed in the presence of district and sessions judge, a lawyer misbehaved and snatched the band of Gaurav Bhatia.

Gaurav Bhatia also turned to social media site X to share the Supreme Court Bar Association letter. He stated lawyers will give their lives for their families. But if you place your hand on the band, they will not tolerate it.

Dhirendra Bhati, secretary of the Gautam Budh Nagar district bar association (Noida) denied the allegations. He said the matter became resolved peacefully between lawyers and Gaurav as far as they knew and no wrongdoing occurred.

Furthermore, he said they would investigate the matter and take suitable measures while taking notice of the SCBA letter. Meanwhile, Hridesh Katheria, assistant deputy commissioner of police stated they did not receive a complaint on the alleged matter.

However, Gaurav Bhatia appeared in court for a case involving YouTuber Elvish Yadav. Elvish is recently in judicial jail for smuggling snake venom.
