An annular solar eclipse happens when the Moon is at or near its farthest point from the Earth. The moon is farther away than it is during a solar eclipse. So the moon appears small and doesn’t block the entire sun when it passes in front of the Sun. In fact, the moon keeps the bright ring of the Sun visible at the peak of the eclipse which creates the effect of a ring of fire.

Astronomers and people interested in astronomy and space are eagerly waiting to witness this year’s last amazing annular solar eclipse. An astrologer expresses his excitement about the solar eclipse in his tweet in the following way.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has stated that solar eclipse will be visible in various countries like southwestern Mexico, northern Brazil, Central America, and central Columbia.

According to the PMD, the eclipse will begin on October 14 at 8:04 p.m. (PST). Moreover, the eclipse will peak at 10:59 p.m. and end on October 15 at 1:55 a.m.

Unfortunately, Pakistanis cannot witness this year’s annular solar eclipse 2023.
