Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas reach agreement over girls custody

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have reached a mutual agreement over sharing the custody of their daughters. The famous actress of “The Game of Thrones”, Turner petitioned in the court to bring her daughters back to England.

DailyMail claims to have obtained the court documents of Turner and Jonas which reveal they have reached a temporary custody agreement. Each of them will get two weeks at a time to spend moments with their daughters until January per agreement.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas share two daughters. One of them is three years old, Delphine and the other one is one year old, Willa.

The court allows Sophie to bring girls back to England which she claims will be their “forever home”. Girls will celebrate Christmas with their mother in the UK.

Both parents have permission from the court to travel girls with anywhere in the US and UK. Jonas will take the girls on the tour with his band, The Jonas Brothers. And Sophie will spend Christmas with girls in the UK with family. Both released a joint statement about the custody agreement of their daughters.

Jonas filed the case for custody of his daughters on Sep 1, 2023. Sources close to him claimed that Sophie was keeping girls away from Jonas too much. In return, Sophie fired back at Jonas accusing him that he wasn’t willing to give the girl’s passports. She wanted to bring back the girls with her for the Christmas celebration. Furthermore, she cited an International Children abduction law in the court to get custody of her girls.

Sophie and Jonas came to an agreement after four days of intense conciliation in New York. Girls are currently staying with Turner. Stephen Cullen is Turner’s lawyer who is pursuing Sophie’s case in court. Cullen says conciliation between former couple is “ongoing and productive”.

Sophie will have custody of her daughters from Oct 9 to Oct 21. However, Jonas will have their custody from Oct 21 to Nov 21. According to the judge’s filing on Oct 10, 2023, Sophie and Joe are in a mediation agreement with co-mediators in the US and UK. These third-party mediators will help both parents reach a mutual agreement.

The former couple tied the knot on May 1, 2021. They remained together for four years and finally separated their ways on Sep 6, 2023. Sophie is a famous British actress while Joe is a well-known American songwriter and singer.
