US man sued hotel for ruining his sex life after Scorpio stung his private part
A 62-year-old US man Michael Farchi sued a Las Vegas hotel for ruining his sex life after a Scorpio stung his private part. It happened during his stay in the hotel room when Scorpio had gotten into his bed and bit him on his testicles.
Michael claimed this incident left him with trauma and post-trauma stress disorder (PSTD). Moreover, his wife has expressed dissatisfaction about the significant change in their sexual life in the aftermath of this incident.
He is a resident of Angora Hills, California. The stinging incident happened last year when he stayed at The Venetian Las Vegas Hotel after Christmas last year.
Michael claimed he felt attacked by a sharp glass or knife. When a Scorpio crawled into his bed and stung its stinger into his private part. He also took pictures of a scorpion that stung him.
His lawyer Brian Virag mentioned in the lawsuit the loss of partnership for Mr. Michael. He referred to the victim’s wife’s allegations regarding their affected sexual life.
Moreover, Brian revealed the hotel owed a duty of care to victims to provide a clean, safe, and sanitary room free of vermin, bed bugs, or similar things including scorpions.
According to the lawsuit, Michael stated the hotel staff knew about the poisonous deadly scorpion outbreak. He said he woke up after experiencing immense pain in his groin in December 2023.

When he went to the washroom to check on himself he found Scorpio handing on his underwear. But he informed hotel staff that Scorpio bit on his testicles, and they did not take him seriously.
Instead, they made fun of him while holding their groin area and laughing about it. Michael emphasized it was really embarrassing. Following this, US victim man Michael sued The Venetian Las Vegas Hotel for ruining his sex life and emotional trauma.
However, Michael is awaiting the outcome of a jury trial to determine whether the hotel must pay the man for damages, pain, suffering, and mental distress.
