Punjab CM Launched Innovative Smart Classroom Project with Huawei
Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched an Innovative Smart Classroom Project with Huawei. She launched it at Kinnaird Girls High School, Empress Road today.
According to a Huawei news release, this innovative project collaborates with the Government of Punjab. It represents a significant advancement in Punjab’s educational transformation by implementing modern technology into the classroom.
The Smart Classroom Project comes as part of the “Back to School” enrolment campaign by the Punjab Government. It features Huawei’s modern technology such as cameras that capture lectures, enabling students to review and engage with lessons outside the classroom.
This project will make education learning more engaging and accessible while improving quality. Huawei has shown a strong commitment to enhancing educational innovation towards this project with extraordinary enthusiasm.
Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz emphasized the significance of the Innovative Smart Classroom project when she launched it. She said this project shows their commitment to providing high-quality education to every student in Punjab.
According to Maryam, their objective is to bring all government schools up to the highest caliber of private schools. This program is part of Punjab’s larger plan to develop its IT sector and set itself as a center for technology innovation.
The government aims to utilize technology to develop talent and promote economic growth with the Smart Classroom Project. Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat and Parliamentary Secretary for School Education Nosheen Adnan also played roles in this project launch.
Sikandar and Nosheen were also present at the inauguration ceremony. They emphasized the collaborative efforts to launch this project.
Earlier, Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz decided to launch Chromebook production and free Google IDs to government school students. It comes as part of the Wheel Project after the collaboration between govt. and international organizations Allied and Google to make Punjab students capable in the tech era.
