US Man confessed to rape & murder fellow tourist in German castle

A US man named Troy Philipp B has confessed to rape and murder his fellow American tourist at the famous Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany. Troy is facing many counts, including one count of murder in the death of a 21-year-old lady and attempted murder of the victim’s friend.

US man Troy Philipp B has also confessed to sexual assault and rape of both ladies over a waterfall. He is facing trial at the district court in Kempten, southern Germany. If found guilty, he may face life imprisonment.

The lawyer of Troy, Philip Mueller, said of his client on the trial’s opening day that he committed this act with no malicious intent. Philip claimed that Troy acted impulsively. He is deeply ashamed of his acts and wants to apologize to the victims’ families.

The accused man, Troy Philipp B, is from Michigan in the United States. He also admitted to collecting child pornography, which authorities discovered during their investigation.

Regarding his recent trial in a German court, the two victim women met Troy Philipp near the Marienbrucke bridge, which is a famous tourist spot for viewing the castle.

He then took them to a hidden track. He claimed that the route to the bridge was difficult to find out. After then, he pushed the 21-year-old lady to the ground, raped and strangled her before the victim’s friend tried to help her.

Moreover, he forced the victim’s friend into the 50m deep waterfall and continued to abuse her sexually, strangling her with a belt and filming it. Afterward, he pushed the deceased body into the same waterfall when several hikers discovered the situation.

On the call of hikers, mountain rescuers were able to find both women. Meanwhile, a 21-year-old woman died of her injuries at the hospital. However, her 22-year-old friend also suffered numerous injuries but survived.

Later, a heavy police manhunt, involving over 25 vehicles caught the culprit. A tourist from New York witnessed the arrest of Troy. He reported that his face was covered in deep red scratch marks.

As well as his neck, which shows there was a struggle while catching him. However, the victims’ names have been kept hidden due to the privacy laws of Germany.

Neuschwanstein Castle, in Bavaria, is one of the country’s most famous tourist attractions. It captured more than 1.3 million tourists every year.
