TDP MLA Koneti Adimulam accused of sexual assault & leaked video went viral
A woman has accused TDP MLA Koneti Adimulam of sexual assault and his alleged sex video leaked that went viral on social media. Koneti is a member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Andhra Pradesh state from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP).
Andhra State Police has filed an FIR against Koneti following a complaint from an accuser woman. The complainant woman is reportedly TDP’s women’s wing head of Satyavedu town in Tirupati district. She mentioned in the complaint that Koneti used to call her sister but he sexually molested her.
Meanwhile, an alleged sex video of Koneti has also gone viral showing Koneti performing a sexual act with the complainant woman. It is significant to note that it is unclear whether the alleged video shooting happened when and where.
However, accused TDP MLA Koneti Adimulam denied charges of sexual assault against him. He alleged his own party members conspiring against him.
Koneti stated a viral video on social media tampered and his party members played a role in spreading this video in a conspiracy attempt against him. He expressed these views while talking to the media news outlet, Big TV.
On the other hand, TDP party members did not respond to either the leaked sexual video of Koneti Adimulam or his allegations against them.

However, allegations against politicians Koneti are not new. Women leaders from multiple Indian political parties have accused male politicians of sexually abusing them on several occasions. It seemed to become a political norm in India.
Kerala Congress leader Simi Rosebell John recently said women must respond to sexual abuse from male politicians. They must rise in politics. However, she was dismissed from the Congress party following her remarks.
