Nashville restaurant shooting killed and injured people

A shooting occurred at a Nashville restaurant during Easter brunch celebrations killed one person and injured at least five people. Authorities are seeking a suspect who escaped in a Mercedes SUV vehicle.

Nashville police spokesperson Don Aaron stated it was not a shootout. This was one person who decided to draw a pistol after a fight with another male person. After that, he fired multiple shots.

According to police, Anton Rucker is wanted in connection with the shooting. Authorities said he is a convicted criminal who escaped a restaurant, “Roasted Salemtown” while driving a Mercedes SUV.

The Metro Nashville Police Department named the dead person as Allen Beachem. Allen was 33-years-old. However, the police did not identify the others who fell victim to the shooting at the Nashville restaurant.

Police spokesperson Don Aaron stated five persons had non-critical wounds due to the shooting. Medical personnel also reportedly transported another individual who may have been wounded by a gunshot and a pregnant woman who had a panic attack.

According to Don Aaron, the suspected gunman Anton came to the restaurant minutes before the incident with a woman. Later, he left with her in the car.

Detectives believe the man who died and the attacker Anton were having a fight that happened quickly. The restaurant was busy. Hence, they were unable to determine how many individuals were inside when the shooting began.
