Massive fire outbreak at Hotel Pal killed 6 people and injured over 20
A massive fire outbreak in Hotel Pal near Patna Railway Station has killed six people and injured more than 20 people in Bihar. The fire at Hotel Pal spread quickly to the adjoining Amit hotel and other buildings.
According to a fire brigade officer, the number of casualties could rise. They found the dead bodies of a mother and her daughter at Hotel Amit. Eventually, they brought down a massive fire outbreak after 7-8 hours of struggling at Hotel Pal.
Meanwhile, a massive fire outburst wrecked several automobiles, two-wheelers, and four-wheelers which quickly expanded by blowing wind.
Senior Superintendent of Police Rajeev Mishra said that firefighters have rescued twenty people from the building in a busy area. He said they had transported injured people to the hospital. Twelve people are critically injured. However, the identities of dead people are still unknown.
Mrityunjay Kumar Chaudhary, the DIG (Fire) said they received information about the fire outbursts at 11:54 a.m. Firefighters rushed to the scene and began putting out the fire as soon as they received the information.

Mrityunjay also said they have now controlled the fire. A thorough investigation will determine the cause behind the fire incident and suitable action will be taken after.
DGP Bihar, Shobha Ohatkar also rushed to the incident place with Fire Services. She told the media reported it seemed that a cylinder blow caused the fire to start. She also revealed authorities have completed a fire audit of over 16,000 hotels and it is still ongoing.
Moreover, they are provided with precise instructions in the fire audit. Some people tend to follow directions whereas others due to negligence.
In a separate incident, a 70-year-old man died in Mumbai due to burn injuries as a result of a grocery store fire. The victim man was Pannalal Vaishya who died when a fire outbroke at a single-story store in Jai Bhavani Nagar in Antop Hill.
