Kenyans created ChatGPT tool that exposes corruption cases of politicians
Kenyans have created a ChatGPT tool named “Corrupt Politicians” that shows all corruption cases of politicians in a retaliatory response to a high-tax finance bill 2024. This move came after a series of youngster protests against tax hikes by the ruling Kenyan government.
Young people of Kenya online have now brought up the fight to hold politicians accountable one step further. They have noted that even though President William Ruto gave in to pressure to cancel Finance Bill 2024. This was only the beginning of restoring the people’s authority.
It is significant to note that President William withdrew Finance Bill 2024 after the deadliest protest on June 26, 2024. At least 30 Kenyans died in anti-finance bill protests.
As the anti-finance bill protests turn into anti-government demonstrations, the Kenyan youth are turning to technology instead of merely chanting and carrying placards.
This has sparked an unimagined revolution that is evolving across the nation. A Kenyan known as BenwithSon on Twitter X has gone a step further. He created an artificial intelligence tool ChatGPT on behalf of several young Kenyans.

Corrupt Politicians provides information on previous corruption cases in which politicians and government officials have been involved.
It gives you a list of all known corruption scandals sorted chronologically from the earliest to the newest with case specifics and outcomes when you search for a politician’s name.
This ChatGPT tool also disclosed if the politician faced legal action or if the government dropped the charges of corruption against accused. It also lists the sources for each case. It asks users to point out any missing details to increase the accuracy of this tool.
However, this is not the first time Kenyans have taken such initiative against the government. Previously, Kelvin Onkundi introduced the Finance Bill GPT to explain the complex language used in the controversial Finance Bill.
Kenyans have used it to interpret new laws and government policies through this tool. All these steps from Kenyan youth indicate the revolutionary path in the political arena.
