Kenyans backlashed Influencer Osama Otero for hosting President Ruto
Kenyans have strongly backlashed Influencer Kevin Monari, popular as Osama Otero for hosting President William Ruto on his won X Space. Osama is one of the most well-known people on Twitter X.
It is significant to note that Osama was one of the most passionate opponents of President William for passing the Finance Bill 2024. He actively participated in widespread anti-finance bill protests.
Meanwhile, he was kidnapped and then freed during the increased intense protests against the Finance Bill. Regarding the latest development, Osama hosted a space meant to resemble the President’s own space.
His space hosting came after he promised his followers and other Kenyans to sabotage the X space of President William. Hence, Kenyans have started bashing him following his promise breakage due to yesterday’s space hosting.
The young Kenyans have initiated direct and indirect campaigns against President William due to ineffective government measures corruption etc.
This campaign turned into an aggressive and zero-tolerance policy since fierce retaliation from the government against anti-finance bill protests.
So, things took a very sharp turn soon after Osama immediately welcomed President William into his own Space. Spokesperson Hussein Mohammed was also present at his space. Osama also gave them the opportunity to address his space members which really pissed off Kenyans.

This sudden change of heart and opinion from someone (Osama in this case) who had been fighting the Kenyan government for so long took a lot of people by surprise.
Thousands of his followers expressed shock and disappointment at his sudden u-turn, especially since he promised to work with his colleagues to fight President William’s space.
Following this, massive Kenyans have backlashed Influencer Osama Otero. He was supposed to host a different Space with Kimuzi to beat President William’s space on the same day.
Instead, he ditched Kenyans and Kimuzi and joined President William in his space “Engage the President.” Kenyans considered his move a big betrayal as they were looking forward to the fight- that was coming and were happy about it.
