Former US President Donald Trump has won the Lowa Republican caucuses in the first contests in 2024. Republican caucuses refer to a meeting held by the Republican party at the local state. Party members discuss and vote on their preferred candidates for various offices during caucuses.

Donald Trump has won the Lowa Republican caucuses for the second time. However, he claimed to have won the Lowa state three times during his address.

Trump congratulated Lowans for handing him a decisive victory. He also congratulated his campaign workers and supporters for voting despite the cold storm that brought low temperatures to the state.

He said it has been a fantastic experience while speaking to his supporters. Trump backlashed President Biden for problems with the southern border crisis of US-Mexico, crimes, and foreign wars.

Trump called Biden the worst president that they have had in the history of the United States. He alleged Biden destroyed their country.

He also thanked his Republican opponents, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley. As well as businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, whom he claimed did a hell of a job. Vivek quit his campaign last night and endorsed Trump for the Republican nomination.

Moreover, Trump stated that despite all of his opponent’s money and time spent in Lowa, they failed to establish momentum in a campaign that Trump was heavily favored to win.

He urged his followers to go to the polls and vote despite canceling three of his four in-person campaign events over the weekend due to severe cold weather. Trump said at a rally in Indianola that you (his supporters) can’t sit at home. Even if you vote and then pass away, it is worth it.

Since last spring, Trump has held a commanding lead in Lowa surveys. He expanded his lead throughout the year. He left Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley fighting for second place in Lowa state.
