The bungalow owner said the thief had stolen silver jewelry, a silver chain, and a gold bracelet from his home. Moreover, he informed the police that a domestic helper who had started working there a few days before the theft might have been the thief.

Following the complaitant’s suspicion, Dwarka police called Neetu but her cell phone went off. Police also found her address was fake. However, they tracked her through CCTV footage and spoke with local people.

When maid Neetu tried to escape Delhi while carrying a bag, police arrested her. She revealed during interrogation she is a resident of Rajasthan. Her spouse suffered from a drug addiction and used to abuse her.
