Canadian Serial Killer Jeremy Skibicki sentenced to life for 4 murders

Court of King’s Bench sentenced Canadian Serial Killer Jeremy Skibicki to life in prison for murdering four Indigenous women. Indigenous people are culturally distinct groups with a strong connection to the lands where they live or have lived. Jeremy is a white supremacist serial killer.

He murdered four native women in 2022 and later sexually abused their corpses in Winnipeg. These murders shocked the First Nation community in Winnipeg and the entire country. First Nations are one of three Indigenous groups in Canada, along with Métis and Inuit. The murder victims belonged to First Nations.

However, he showed no guilt or any emotion when the court gave him a life sentence. However, he had pleaded not guilty to court while citing a mental disorder.

The victim women’s family members passed emotional statements upon hearing this verdict as they were not satisfied. Following this, Court of King’s Bench Justice Glenn Joyal addressed Jeremy and said don’t make a mistake. The only available sentence he can impose today will regrettably not significantly show the severity of his crimes.

Justice Glenn announced a white supremacist Jeremy preyed on and targeted four women to satisfy his necrophilia. Necrophilia is attraction towards corpses and sexual intercourse with them. Afterward, he sentenced Canadian serial killer Jeremy Skibicki to life imprisonment.

According to Grand Chief Cathy Merrick of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, Jeremy’s horrible acts have left deep marks on First Nations people and their effects will be felt for many years to come.

Who is Canadian Serial Killer Jeremy Skibicki?

Jeremy is a 37-year-old man who committed murders of First Nation women due to his racial motivation. He used to express racist and white supremacist views on social media. His posts also included antisemitic and hateful content against women.

This sick mentality led him to commit murders between March and May 2022. Jeremy targeted Morgan Harris (39), Myran (26), Rebecca Contois (24), and Mashkode Bizhiki’ikwe or Buffalo Woman.

He assaulted and killed all these women through strangling and drowning. He sexually abused their corpses before disfiguring their bodies to dispose of them in trash bins.

These murderers came to light when a man found body remains in a trash bin near Jeremy’s residence while looking for scrap metal. He eventually confessed to committing these murders. His lawyers pleaded guilty for him while claiming his schizophrenia suffering, a serious mental disorder.
