Mumbai man raped 9-year-old daughter when she was alone at home

A man from Mumbai raped his own 9-year-old daughter at home when no one was present except him and the victim. The Mumbai police informed media reporters that the victim girl’s mother filed a complaint against her husband for raping their daughter.

According to police, this legal action came when the victim girl revealed the horrible incident to her mother. Although this condemnable incident happened two months ago, but the complaint was filed recently upon the victim’s revelation.

The victim’s mother filed a complaint at Dindoshi Police Station recently as the girl had not revealed this incident to anyone before. The accused Mumbai man raped her 9-year-old daughter when nobody was at home in June 2024. After raping a young girl, he threatened her not to tell anyone.

Following this, police filed a case against the father under Sections 65(2), and 68(A), of BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita). It also includes Sections 4,10,12 of POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act).

Afterward, police arrested the accused father who will be in police custody until August 30. They are further investigating this case. The identities of the victim and suspect are unknown as the authorities kept them hidden due to the case’s sensitivity.

In a separate incident, a 25-year-old man raped a 4-year-old relative girl. This incident happened in a village in the Cholapur area in Varanasi on August 26, 2024.

The rapist was the uncle of the victim girl’s mother. Her mother filed a complaint to the police who revealed she went to her parental home with her daughter. She left behind her daughter at home to buy medicines from the market.

Her relative took advantage of the situation and raped her on August 26 night. When she returned home, her daughter told her about the incident. Police have arrested the suspect and sent him to jail until his court appearance.
