At least 81 Palestinians died after Israel’s deadliest attack on Khan Younis

At least 81 Palestinians died after Israel launched a new deadliest strike on refugees in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip. This fatal attack happened on July 22, 2024, after Israel ordered refugees to evacuate the area following its claimed attack on Hamas militants.

Following that, Israel entered its tanks into the larger Khan Younis area. According to residents of the heavily populated southern Gaza area, Israeli tanks moved more than two kilometers into Bani Suhalla and started a bombardment of fires.

It caused several Palestinian refugees to escape under massive fire. One resident Abu Khaled reported to Reuters through a messaging app that it was like doomsday.

Abu witnessed that hundreds of displaced Palestinians were escaping under fire. Many have died and several wounded lying on the roads.

Gaza Health Ministry reported that at least 186 people fell victim to a fatal Israeli attack. The majority of dead people are women and children. However, it did not differentiate between militants and civilians in its death toll.

According to recent media reports, at least 81 Palestinians have died, and more than 250 received injuries. Palestinian officials reported around 40,000 people living in targeted areas.

The humanitarian organization Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported the recent Israeli attack has forced the closure of its two facilities in eastern Khan Younis.

It also stated that PRCS crews transported two injured people to Nasser Hospital this morning today. One of them sustained critical injuries.

However, Israeli forces prevented them from reaching the site bombed by them. There are several martyrs and inured people are present at the bombed site.

Hundreds of families have started to evacuate their homes due to Israel’s fatal attacks. The heartbreaking scenes emerged from the land of Palestine which portrayed forcible departure of civilians from homes.

Families with beds and other possessions left their homes with sad hearts on donkey carts while others abandoned their homes while walking on foot.

Meanwhile, some of the grieved families stood outside the mortuary at the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis to pay their respects to departed family members.

One of the victim’s family members Ahmed Sammour stated they have become tired. They are tired in Gaza. Every day their children are martyred, every day, every moment. His multiple family members died in multiple Israeli strikes in eastern Khan Younis.
