Anti-Zionist Jewish activists take over Richard Marle’s office
Anti-Zionist Jewish activists take over the Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marle’s office in Geelong. They held a protest against the response of the Australian Government to the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.
The protest of anti-Zionist Jewish activists continued for several hours until police removed them from outside the Greelong office of the Deputy Prime Minister. They have used bicycle locks to secure themselves in the building and refused to leave.

The protestors asked the Deputy Prime Minister to condemn the bombing of Gaza and the West Bank. Mr. Richard is currently visiting the United States of America as part of his two-day trip to Washington.
The group of protestors has also called on the government to withdraw its diplomatic, economic, and military support for Israel’s occupation of Palestine.

PM Anthony held a private conversation with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu. But he told in a press conference that he remained concerned over civilian casualties.
It is the first time the conversation between the Australian PM and Mr.Benjamin took place since the conflict started between Israel and Hamas on Oct 7, 2023.
Mr. Richard Donald Marles has been Deputy Prime Minister as well as Defense Minister for Australia in the Albanese government since 2022. After the protest of anti-zionist activists in the office of Richard, Australian PM Anthony made a call to Israeli PM Benjamin.
