Percy Jackson and the Olympians Premier Review- The first two episodes premiere has live streamed on Disney Plus and Hulu. These two episodes are based on a fantasy series released on Disney+ and Hotstar today on December 20, 2023.

The released episodes have much for the pleasure of fans. The Percy Jackson series is comprised of eight episodes based on the novel series by author Rick Riordan. It introduces us to the realm of Olympian gods who are at odds. It is up to their descendants called demigods to prevent war from breaking out.

The series begins with a voiceover by Percy Jackson which Walker Scobell brilliantly performed recounting his experiences as a boy battling with dyslexia and bullying at school but being labeled “special” by his well-wishers.

Percy Jackson Episode 1

The first episode named “I Accidentally Vaporize My Pre-Algebra Teacher” follows 12-year-old Percy Jackson as he encounters odd creatures but believes it is all in his imagination.

Grover Underwood (Aryan Simhadri) becomes Percy’s companion. They bond over being at the bottom of the food chain of school kids’ hierarchy. Soon later, an incident near the museum’s fountain causes Percy to be expelled from school. Here the adventure begins to unfold which this series promises.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Episode 2

The second episode “I Become Supreme Lord of the Bathroom” begins with a lighter tone after the intense struggle that concluded the first episode. Percy finds his position in The Camp and awaits his father’s claim.

Viewers may receive minor doses of humor as Dionysus at The Camp gives some brightness to the show. An important character played by Leah Jeffries who helps Percy discover his true strength.

The last ten minutes of the episode are full of powerful revelations as the father of Percy Poseidon informs him of the adventure he must undertake to convince Zeus that he has not stolen. Zeus is the Greek God’s thunderbolt.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians review it as an adorable Disney adaptation of a fantasy series about teen demigods. It is a delightful, multiverse-free way to spend an evening with children.

The remaining episodes of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will be available on Disney+ and Hotstar every Wednesday.
