Furiosa's first trailer teases Mad Max Saga's best characters

Warner Bros. has unveiled Furiosa’s first trailer that teases the Mad Max saga’s best characters like Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy. Fuiosa: A Mad Max Saga is a much-awaited prequel to the 2015 hit “Mad Max: Fury Road”.

George Miller has directed this prequel which marks the fifth entry in the legendary “Mad Max” franchise. It brings back the iconic post-apocalyptic wasteland.

“Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” trailer is out

The trailer shows Anya Taylor-Joy going through a drastic change shaving her head to play the role of Imperator Furiosa. Charlize Theron portrayed this fictional character before.

The trailer introduces us to the immersive universe of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga”. The story shows a young Furiosa who is pushed into a terrible realm after being torn from the Green Palace of many mothers. Chris Hemsworth and Tom Burke with Anya play crucial roles in this action-packed prequel. Chris portrays the character Dementos who is a violent and manipulative figure born in the Wasteland.

Notably, several cast members from “Mad Max: Fury Road(2015)” return for “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024)”. Simon Dugan takes over as cinematographer from John Seale who departs after working on George’s previous movie “Fury Road”.

The mastermind behind the franchise Mad Max is George Miller who directs and co-writes the screenplay with Nico Lathouris. George is famous for the success of “Fury Road” which has received ten Academy Award nominations and many wins.

Now, George brings back major collaborators for “Furiosa”. It involves Margaret Sixel as film editor, Jenny Beaven as costume designer, and Junkie XL as composer.

The prequel will be released on May 24, 2024. The first trailer provides an exciting view into the wasteland which makes fans ready for the next installment of the Mad Max series.
