Mahira Khan’s second wedding with Salim Karim happened on Oct 1, 2023. She tied the knot with a business tycoon, Salim Karim. She had been dating him for about five years. Now, she decided to finally step into an official marital relationship. It is her second marriage.

Salim Karim is a well-established businessman and is popular as the CEO of Simpasia in the business world. They met for the first time in 2017 at the event of the television application’s launch named TapMad. The story of their romance and love started from there.

Mahira Hafeez Khan, born on December 21, 1984, is a famous Pakistani actress. Her journey in the entertainment world began in 2006 when she started as a VJ. Mahira is most celebrated for her performance as Khirad Hussain in the romantic drama series called “Humsafar.” This role earned her many awards and recognitions, including the Lux Style Award for Satellite Best TV Actress and the Hum Award for Best On-screen Couple alongside Fawad Khan.

Mahira Khan’s first marriage with Ali Askari

This is Mahira Khan’s second wedding with Salim Karim while her first marriage was with Ali Askari in 2007 and they both share a son, Azlan. Mahira Khan and his first spouse Ali got separated in 2015. She has kept his personal life private from the public eye. But recently, she opened up about her relationship with Ali during her appearance on the FWhy Podcast. Mahira revealed that she fell in love with him during her vacations to Los Angeles (LA).

She said, “We were always supposed to go to LA since my uncles were already there, but at 17, I insisted that I go early since I was in love and he was there. But, after going there, mujhe meri naani yaad aa gayi (things got difficult for me)”. But when she went to LA, Ali broke up with her.

After a couple of years, they again met and fell in love. At that time, they decided to marry. After marriage, they became parents of a son in 2009. After the birth of Azlan, she said problems started to arise between them. And they finally separated their ways and divorced.

Although she expressed that divorce was very painful and difficult for her. She said the initial years of the divorce were very tough for her. “The first few years were very painful because it was about two good people, it was not an abusive relationship. But it was like two kids had gotten married and sometimes two people evolve differently. There was a little bit of pressure to go back as well.“

On Sunday, Mahira Khan’s wedding for the second time took place in Pearl Continental Hotel Bhurbhan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
