SHC orders Police to register Usman Dar’s missing case

SHC orders police to register Usman Dar’s missing case and submit a report to the court on Oct 18. Sindh High Court (SHC) has passed this verdict today. Popular leader and political member of PTI, Usman Dar went missing about three weeks ago on Sep 9, 2023. The unknown people in plain clothes traveling in vehicles having no registration numbers took him away.

Usman Dar hails from Sialkot and he served as Special Minister to former Prime Minister (Imran Khan) on youth affairs. Since the riot incident of May 9, he has been in hiding.

The Secretary General of PTI, Omer Ayub Khan claimed that Dar was abducted by unknown people from Malir Cannt, Karachi at 4:13 p.m.

The video of Usman Dar’s mother also moved on social media where she demanded the immediate release of her son. Later on, the well-known journalist Mansoor Ali Khan also confirmed the news of his abduction.

SHC also passed the same order on Sep 20

Sindh High Court (SHC) had also ordered police to file a missing case of Usman Dar on Sep 20 and submit the report to the court on Oct 3. The SHC issued the notices to the Provincial Home Secretary, inspector general of police (IG), and Chief Executive Officer of Malir Cantonment to recover Usman Dar. But the police didn’t follow the orders of the court. And today in this regard, SHC expressed resentment at not filing the missing case of Usman Dar. Now for the second time, the SHC orders police to register Usman Dar’s missing case.

Barrister Tahir Ali and court Proceedings of Usman Dar’s case.
