Bishnoi Gang fired at Salman Khan’s home in the Bandra area of Mumbai early on Sunday morning April 14, 2024. Two unknown gunmen riding motorbikes opened fire outside the residence of Salman Khan.
Police told media reporters armed men fired five rounds in the air outside Salman’s residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra at around five in the morning. CCTV footage captured this incident. The armed motorbike riders can be seen running away from the scene after the firing.
Law enforcement officials are investigating this incident and trying to identify the suspects. According to the criminal branch official, the quality of CCTV footage is quite low. Hence, the darkness hid the registration number of the motorbike.
However, officials said they are clearing footage and obtaining some leads in the matter with the help of technical experts. Mumbai Police also filed a First Information Report (FIR) for this incident against an unidentified person under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). This section deals with attempted murder and the Arms Act.
The police have also recovered a motorbike, a little over a kilometer from Salman’s home. They suspect attackers used this. Authorities increased security outside Salman Khan’s residence after the firing.
According to recent developments, Mumbai police have caught one of the suspects Vishal by clearing the CCTV footage. Vishal has multiple accusations of killings, firing, and robbery cases.
Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, and a member of the Bishnoi gang has reportedly admitted to being the one who fired the shots outside Salman Khan’s home at Bandra’s Galaxy Towers in Mumbai.
Anmol Bishnoi allegedly stated in a Facebook post that the incident outside the actor’s home was only a “trailer.” He also threatened further firing incidents.
Gangster Anmol wrote peace is what we desire. So be it, if going to war is the only option available for ending oppression. Salman Khan, they have only given you a trailer so you can appreciate the extent of our power and not push it too far.

This incident seems to be a personal enmity between the Bishnoi gang and Salman. It dates back to the 1998 blackbuck hunting incident by Salman. Blackbuck is a famous animal found in India, which the Bishnoi community considers a “sacred animal.”
Lawrence Bishnoi urged Salman to apologize for hunting blackbuck or face revenge last year while giving an interview. He said Salman Khan humiliated the entire Bishnoi community by hunting blackbuck.
The post also stated the first and last warning is this one. Shots won’t be fired outside the house only after this. They also have dogs named after the people you worship, Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Shakeel. He doesn’t talk as much as he used to.
It is significant to note that Anmol Bishnoi is a suspect in the murder of Punjabi artist Sidhu Moose Wala. He has run away to another country using a fake passport.
