Bollywood King Shahrukh Khan unveils the teaser of his upcoming movie “Dunki” on his 58th birthday. Dunki movie starring mega star Shah Rukh Khan, will be released on December 22nd.

Shahrukh unveiled the teaser saying The DunkiDrop1 is here. He says the “Dunki” story is about ordinary people attempting to realize their dreams and desires. Friendship, love, and getting together. Of being in a Home relationship! A touching story told by a heartwarming storyteller. It’s an honor to be a part of this journey, and I hope you’ll join us.

The cast and story of Dunki

The long-awaited Dunki teaser provided the best look yet at the film, which marks Shah Rukh’s first collaboration with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani. Taapsee Pannu co-stars with Shah Rukh in the lead role in Dunki. Vicky Kaushal appears in the film as well.

The teaser begins with a group of men and women dressed in black crossing a desert with a mark on their backs from a sharpshooter. They travel back in time as he fires a shot to where it all began with a group of Punjabi friends who hope to work and live in London someday. Shah Rukh Khan and his friends Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and two others are among them. Hardy’s character portrayed by Shah Rukh vows to help his friends get to London by any means necessary. Red Chillies Entertainment, Rajkumar Hirani Films, and Jio Studios have all invested in Dunki. Dunki is the teaser for Shahrukh’s third film of the year after the blockbusters Pathaan and Jawan.

Last year, Shah Rukh Khan discussed the title of his upcoming film Dunki, and explained what it meant. During an interview with Deadline, Shah Rukh discussed Dunki while attending the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia in December 2022.

According to Shahrukh, the English title of his movie is Donkey. However, donkey is pronounced as ‘dunki’ in some parts of India. The Punjabis pronounce it (donkey) as dunki.

Mr Raju Hirani is one of our country’s most brilliant filmmakers who directed Dunki. While, Abhijat Joshi is the writer of Dunki.
