Hunter Biden sued Fox News for publishing his nude photos

Hunter Biden, son of US President Joe Biden sued Fox News for allegedly publishing his nude photos and videos under revenge porn law. He claimed in a lawsuit that Fox News released the pictures and videos of him wearing underwear.

It happened during a fictional “mock trial” program focused on his international business ventures. Hence, Hunter claimed Fox News broke the so-called revenge porn law in New York State.

Revenge Porn Law prevents publishing a person’s private photos online without the permission of the relevant person. Moreover, Hunter emphasized he is suing Fox for the deliberate imposition of emotional suffering and unfair profit.

According to Hunter, the controversial trial series intentionally manipulates the facts, and truth using certain true information. It portrayed things out of context and invented dialogue intended to entertain.

However, the controversial mock trial happened in October 2022 when Fox published “The Trial of Hunter Biden: A Mock Trial for the American People” on its Fox Nation streaming network.

Later on, Fox removed it from its platform when Hunter’s lawyers threatened to delete it. On the other hand, Fox News claimed it has been truthful in reporting on Hunter Biden and its inquiries into his behavior. The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects it.

It further emphasized the recent lawsuit is an entirely politically-motive move. It lacks merit as it quickly removed the show out of caution.

Hunter was portrayed in the Fox series as being on trial for claims of illegal foreign lobbying and bribery. However, he never faced any charges for these accusations.

But Hunter Biden will go on trial in September for alleged tax offenses. Delaware court found him guilty of illegal purchase and possession of a handgun in June 2024.
