NIA filed a chargesheet against Goldy Brar in Karni Sena chief murder case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a chargesheet against Goldy Brar in connection with the murder case of Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. Karni Sena is an India-based organization that aims to demand caste-based reservations for Rajputs in government jobs and education.

Goldy Brar has an original name, Satwinder Singh. He is a Canadian-based Indian gangster who turned terrorist. The charge sheet of NIA came in connection with the murder of Sukhdev Singh on December 5, 2023.

According to NIA, Goldy Brar was involved in the horrifying death of Sukhdev Singh in Rajasthan. Two assassinators shot dead Sukhdev in his home in Shyam Nagar Colony in Jaipur.

On the murder day, assassinators also injured Sukhdev’s gunman, Narendra Singh. However, two other people, including Naveen Shekhawat and Ajeet Singh, also died due to fatal shots.

Hence, NIA filed its chargesheet against 12 suspects, including Goldy Brar, following the aftermath of Sukhdev’s murder case. So, it has arrested eight suspects in a conspiracy to kill Sukhdev.

However, the other four suspects, including Gangsters Mahendra Kumar, Virendra Charan, Ravataram Swami, and Goldy Brar, are absconders. NIA is active in arresting them.

All 12 suspects charged by NIA belong to Rajasthan, Haryana, and Punjab under multiple provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). It also includes the Arms Act and UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act).

NIA investigations have shown that the accused Goldy Brar, Virendra Charan, Rawataram Swami, and others were masterminds in planning Sukhdev’s murder.

According to NIA, Goldy and Rawataram accepted responsibility for the murder of Sukhdev Singh after it happened last year. They used this murder to threaten and demand money from other people.

They gave handguns, magazines, and several weapons to two assaulters, Nitin, and Rohit Rathore, to assassinate Sukhdev Singh. Apart from that, Goldy Brar is also wanted in the murder case of Indian singer Sidhu Moosewala.
