Women Commission summoned Bibhav Kumar in Swati Maliwal assault case
The National Commission for Women (NCW) has summoned Delhi CM’s secretary, Bibhav Kumar, in the Swati Maliwal assault case. Arvind Kejriwal is the current chief minister (CM) of Delhi. Swati Maliwal is an Indian parliament member and social activist.
However, Arvind and Swati belong to the same Indian political party, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Arvind’s secretary, Bibhav Kumar, has accusations of assaulting Swati and beating her at CM’s house on May 13, 2024.
Following these serious allegations, NCW has taken serious action in this case and called Bibhav Kumar tomorrow before the panel.
NCW summoned Bhibhav through a letter. It said in the letter that the commission has taken sou moto action of allegations by Swati Maliwal. They received a report that you have violently attacked the home of Chief Minsiter Slui Arvind Kerijwal.
The letter also stated while mentioning Bhibhav, please take notice, the Commission has set a hearing for the case on May 17, 2024, at 11 a.m. So, you must present in person before the panel. Women Commission has summoned you (Bibhav Kumar) due to the mentioned accusations.
NCW also warned Bhibav Kumar in case of his absence, he may face legal trouble as the commission intends to pursue any appropriate course of action against him.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) acknowledged earlier on May 14, 2024, that Bhabhiv Kumar had attacked Swati in the chief minister’s house. Hence, they threatened to take strict action against him.
After that, Bhabiv Kumar was seen last night at the Lucknow airport with party member Sanjay Singh and the national convenor of AAP. However, Swati has not responded to this alleged incident since the matter came to the public.
Delhi police also visited Swati at her home on Minto Road to record her statement regarding this incident. According to Delhi police, she did not contact them to file a complaint. Hence, they would wait for some time. If she doesn’t respond, they might contact her.
