Ja Morant returned to NBA with a great win after a suspension
American basketball player Ja Morant has returned to the National Basketball Association (NBA) with a historic win after facing suspension. He has made a remarkable comeback after completing his suspension for eight months.
Memphis Grizzlies player Ja Morant made his 2023-2024 season debut which was spectacular. Ja scored 34 points on 12-for-24 shooting with eight assists, two steals, and a block. In this way, Ja Morant returned as a game-winner in his first NBA appearance in 235 days.
Grizzlies passed the ball to Ja with 9.1 seconds remaining and the tied score. Ja then took rival Herb Jones off the dribble to lead them to a 115-113 come-from-behind winning. Come-from-behind victory refers to a win when a player or team overcomes a significant drawback to secure a win.
Ja said in a post-game interview on TNT that he has been working hard. He has not played in eight months. He had a lot of time to discover himself as well as many difficult days. But basketball is his life, what he loves. It’s therapeutic for him. He is just happy to be back.

However, Ja did not play in the first 25 games of the Grizzlies because he was suspended for unsportsmanlike conduct. Because he flashed a gun on an Instagram live on May 13. It was his second such incident in 10 weeks which caused his suspension.
Grizzlies moved to 7-19 on the NBA season 2023-2024 debut with this latest victory which Ja helped his team Grizzlies to achieve. Ja Morant is determined to play enthusiastically on December 21, 2023, with rival team Indiana Pacers.
Although Ja Morant has an original name Temetrius Jamel. He is 24 years old professional American basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association. He has a 143-106 record in his career.
