Russian Tennis player Daniil Medvedev beats Alexander Zverev and has finally become a semi-finalist at The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Finals 2023.
Daniil Medvedev moved to the Nitto ATP Finals semi-finals after defeating Alexander Zverev in securing victory for the second time in Turin.
Daniil played more professionally by winning a two-match series 7-6(7) 6-4 to keep his goal of becoming a two-time champion at the season-ending ongoing ATP event. As a result, the Russian improved his overall record against Alexander to 11-7 overall and 5-1 on the season.
A break in the first game served as the perfect platform for Medvedev. He rushed to the net and dismissed Alexander with the first of his two break points. Daniil saved two set points in just over an hour to win the opener 7-6(7).
