Dana White announced UFC 300 fights with Bo Nickal and more
UFC CEO Dana White has finally announced the first three fights in the historic UFC 300 schedule with Prochazka-Rakic, Sterling-Kattar, and Bo Nickal. UFC refers to the Ultimate Fighting Championship, an American-based mixed martial arts company in Las Vegas.
The first batch of fights for UFC 300 contains two previous champions and one of the sport’s finest unbeaten contenders. Dana took to X (formerly Twitter) and revealed former light heavyweight champ Jiri Prochazka will take on Aleksander Rakic.
Both are UFC and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) contenders. Jiri has a record of 29-4-1 MMA and 3-1 UFC while Aleksander has 14-3 MMA and 6-2 UFC points.
The second slot includes Aljamin Sterling with 23-4 MMA and 15-4 UFC who makes his featherweight debut against Calvin Kattar. Calvin has 23-7 MMA and 7-5 UFC.
Last but not least comes rising middleweight star Bo Nickal who has 5-0 MMA and 2-0 UFC clashes with Cody Brundage with 10-5 MMA and 4-4 UFC. In this way, Dana White announced the historic trio of fights for the UFC 300 which will take place on April 13, 2024.

Dana stated that none of the three fights will be the main or co-main event of the PPV (pay-per-view) card. These fights are expected to be one of the largest in the history of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
He also made several other fight announcements. It included champion Robert Whittaker facing former title challenger Paulo Costa at UFC 298 on Feb 17 in Anaheim, California.
According to Dana, the previously scheduled fight between Ian Machado Garry and Geoff Neal will also be relocated to UFC 298.
Former interim featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez will face Brian Ortega in a five-round fight on the UFC First Night program. It will take place in Mexico City on Feb 24, 2024.
