An Indian social media meme account by the name of Memes of Bharat criticized BCCI for the warm welcome of Pakistan. Memes of saying BCCI is greedy and the Indian government is incompetent.

Another Indian netizen criticizes BCCI by sharing the video of former Indian cricketer and politician Gautam Gambhir. In the video, Ghambir says “Pak vs India is just a match, our goal should be winning the World Cup not just to win from Pakistan.”

The netizen also criticized and said, “We should learn from Gautam Sir and think about our soldiers”.
