Afghani misbehaved with Shaheen Afridi in T20 series with Ireland

An Afghan fan misbehaved with Pakistani cricketer Shaheen Afridi in the second T20 International series at Clontarf Cricket Club in Dublin. This was a second match series between Pakistan and Ireland on May 12, 2024.

The unpleasant incident happened as Shaheen walked from the dressing room to the field ground. At first, Shaheen did not care about the bad language of the Afghan person.

But when the Afghan would not stop using abusive language, then Shaheen called in security staff at the stadium to remove him from the stadium. Security forces quickly took action and soon kicked out an Afghan fan from the stadium.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also confirmed that the offensive and unethical Afghan fan was immediately thrown out of the stadium when he misbehaved with Shaheen Afridi.

However, soon confronting video of an Afghan fan and Shaheen Afrdid went viral on social media. Netizens and cricket fans worldwide are expressing anger at the unjustified behavior of Afghani with Shaheen.

It is significant to note that Shaheen Afridi also reached 300 wickets in International cricket after getting a wicket from Paul Stirling. Paul is the captain of the Ireland Cricket Team.

Pakistan Cricket Team tied the three-match series by 1-1 while defeating Ireland with seven wickets at 195 runs in the second Twenty20 International. Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, and Azam Khan played fantastically to choose down the score in the seventeenth over. It helped Pakistan secure a win over Ireland.

Pakistan team captain Babar Azam and Saim Ayub lost wickets early in the match. However, Fakhar and Rizwan teamed up to create a successful alliance. They made massive runs of 140 in their duo partnership. It broke the record of 105 runs by Rizwan and Haider Ali’s partnership in T20Is.

Rizwan made 75 runs off 46 balls, including four sixes and six fours. However, Fakhar scored 78 runs off 40 balls, including six fours and six sixes.
