Terrorist attack on passenger bus in Noshki killed 9 people
In a tragic terrorist attack, 9 people were killed as gunmen targeted them on a passenger bus along Quetta-Taftan Highway near Noshki, Balochistan. According to officials, about 10-12 gunmen launched a terrorist attack on a passenger bus in Noshki.
Deputy Commissioner Habibullah Musakhel told media reporters gunmen blocked the Quetta-Taftan Highway N-40 near Sultan Charhain in Noshki. They kidnapped the specific passengers and shot them. They verified the identity cards of passengers on the bus and grabbed them.
Habibullah said the bodies of abducted passengers were found under a nearby bridge after an hour and a half. It is unclear if attackers took their goods.
Noshki Station House Officer (SHO), Asad Mengal revealed all nine targeted passengers were from Punjab. All victims were men who belonged to Wazirabad, Mandi Bahauddin, and Gujranwala based on their identity cards.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the targeted terrorist attack on passenger bus in Noshki. He also demanded authorities to investigate this matter. He offered his sympathies to the families of the victims.
PM Shehbaz Sharif said they stand with mourning families in this hour of grief. He also claimed perpetrators of this terrorist attack as well as their sponsors would face consequences.
On the other hand, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bughti also expressed his deep sorrow and condolences over the tragic incident. He vowed to bring the terrorists to justice and pardon them with no forgiveness at any cost.

In a separate incident, gunmen blocked the same roadway in Noshki when a car attempted to break through a terrorist attack. One person died and four others sustained injuries as a result of this attack.
According to SHO Asad Mengal, shooters fired at the car shattering its tires, but it did not stop. However, the car toppled which resulted in casualty.
SHO Asad also told the brother of Balochistan assembly member Ghulam Dastgir Badini, was among the car victims. However, no group has claimed responsibility for these terror incidents which happened today.
