Partial suspension of mobile services will likely happen in Punjab

However, the suspension of mobile services will be partially implemented in the province of Punjab. Mobile services will remain suspended in the mentioned districts from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. On the other hand, it will remain active in other districts and provincial areas, including Lahore.

The government of Punjab has taken this decision to ensure law and order in the province while smoothly running the Chehlum processions by Shias. It is part of a precautionary measure by the administration to avoid any unpleasant sectarian violence and terror activity.
