Nine family members killed over a property dispute in Peshawar

Nine members of a family were killed inside a Peshawar house by unknown attackers allegedly over a property dispute. According to law enforcement officials, family rivals broke into the victim’s family’s home and started firing on them indiscriminately.

As a result of this fire, eight family members died at the moment. However, one received critical injuries but eventually passed away due to fatal burned injuries in the hospital.

DSP Badhaber Circle, Nazif ur Rehman told the media that this incident happened in the Baba Bagh area of Badhaber. It lies in the vicinity of Badaber police station. The culprits managed to escape the incident place after committing a horrific crime.

Following this incident, SP Sadar Division, Muhammad Zaman Khan SHO Badhaber, and other police officers reached the crime scene.

They shifted all the dead bodies and injured to the hospital. They also gathered empty cartridges shells and other evidence from the crime scene. Badhaber police have also registered a case on the report of the heirs.

Sahibzada Sajjad is the Senior Superintendent of Police. According to Sahibzada Sajjad, they have made a specialized team to arrest the responsible culprits under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police (SP).

Sahibzada also revealed that nine members of the same family, including six youngsters with several women were killed. The murderers targeted children and women.

The dead women are Naureen, Sidra, and Hamida Begum. However, the victim children are Alibaba, Akash, Tufail Afnan, Iqra, Saba, and Inkhat.

It appears that a horrific mass murder incident has happened in Peshawar allegedly as a result of a property dispute between two families.

In a separate incident, a man shot dead his elder brother and four nephews over a property dispute in Kasur District. This incident happened in the village Bongi Kallian of tehsil Chunian in district Kasur.
