NY Woman’s video went viral for printing cards to help friend find a date

New York (NY) Woman’s TikTok video went viral after printing 500 business cards to help her friend find a date. Natalie Abatemarco recently gained popularity on TikTok with her original method of finding a dating partner for her friend.

Hence, Natalie printed 500 business cards featuring her friend’s picture, a brief bio, and a QR code connecting to her friend’s social media pages. After that, she distributed these cards to the eligible male persons of New York.

Natalie and her friends enjoyed wandering around New York City and handing out the cards, even though they did not result in any official dates.

However, the NY Woman’s (Natalie) TikTok video went viral with around 550,000 views, showing how she tried to help her friend find a dating partner.

Natalie said she made business cards as a funny Secret Santa gift to her friend, who asked to stay anonymous. She told local media that one of her friends is single. So, she wanted to make a gift that would be useful and make her friends laugh.

Moreover, she claimed they walked around New York City giving the cards to people she thought were cute. She said the business cards were great icebreakers. However, they haven’t yet led to any official dates.

According to Natalie, going out makes our evenings so much better. It usually ends in a “funny situation” for everyone. She said she would use the business card idea herself if she were single.

It is not the first time women have approached an unconventional way to find a matching partner. One example is Karoline Geits, who walked around NY City with the written label “looking for a husband.” This event dates back to September 2023.

Karoline initially did this act as a joke with her friends after having no luck finding a husband on dating apps. After that, her TikTok video gained popularity with 24 million people when she portrayed she was looking for a “rich husband.”
