Israel raids Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza today and urges militant group Hamas to surrender. According to Israel, Hamas militants with thousands of Palestinian civilians sheltering inside the Gaza Strip’s biggest hospital.
The largest hospital in Gaza has become a strategic target for Israel, which claims there is a Hamas command center beneath it in basements.
Israel’s military operation continues at Al-Shifa Hospital
Israeli forces raided al-Shifa Hospital early morning, carrying out a “precise and targeted operation against Hamas in a specified area” of the medical facility. According to the Israeli army, the ‘operation’ at al-Shifa Hospital is still ongoing.
According to Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud, Israeli forces are searching Al-Shifa Hospital’s major buildings room by room, corridor by corridor. They are interrogating doctors and medical staff individually.

Explosions at Gaza’s Al-Shifa Hospital
Dr. Munir al-Bursh, director-general of the Gaza Health Ministry told Al Jazeera that Israeli forces invaded the western part of the medical center. Munir said there have been numerous explosions, and dust has entered the places where we are. We suspect there was an explosion inside the hospital.
Dr.Munir ended his media talk saying If we survive, we’ll stay in touch, and if we die, we’ll meet in paradise, In sha Allah.
Global calls for a humanitarian ceasefire have grown louder in recent days. The fate of Al Shifa Hospital has become a source of international concern due to deteriorating conditions in the hospital.
Inside the hospital, thousands of patients, medical personnel, and displaced people have been trapped during Israel’s five-week assault on Gaza.
According to Israel, Hamas operates a command center beneath Al Shifa and uses the hospital and tunnels beneath it to hide military operations and hostages. While Hamas has denied it.
