Tollywood actress Hema released from Banglore Jail in drugs case

NDPS released Tollywood actress Krishna Veni, famous as Hema, from Banglore jail on conditional bail in a rave party drug case. Her bail came after she appeared before the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) special court yesterday.

The court asked her to help with the drug case investigation. Her lawyer, Mahesh Kiran, argued in court that authorities could not find drugs in her vicinity.

Mahesh also emphasized law enforcement officials conducted her medical test after several days of her arrest. Following these arguments, the NDPS court granted her conditional bail and allowed her to leave the jail. However, she was released today.

A video showed a Tollywood actress Hema, being released from Banglore Central Jail while talking to police, finishing her paperwork, and then walking away. She appeared to say they don’t need to tell them anything, probably in press reference that was present upon her release.

Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested her earlier this month on June 3, 2024, suspecting her of using drugs at a rave party. However, rave parties are dance parties that feature fast, repetitive electronic music rounds with light shows.

A rave party happened in a farmhouse close to Electronic City in Banglore on May 19, 2025. CCB raided the farmhouse after receiving a tip and took blood samples from partygoers.

Following that, CCB filed an FIR against her. According to CCB, 27 partygoers, including Hema, were tested positive for drugs. CCB summoned Hema for interrogation and arrested her as she could not reply sufficiently.

However, she stated she had done nothing. She is not guilty. Observe how they are treating her. She always prohibited herself from drug use. She said in her first denial video on Instagram.
