The Hero producer Dhirajlal Shah died in Mumbai

Dhirajlal Nanji Shah Ji famous as a producer of the film “The Hero Love Story of a Spy” and other notable Bollywood films has died. The brother of Dhirajlal, Hasmukh verified the news of his death.

Hasmukh also told media reporters that Dhirajlal was being treated at Mumbai hospital. The deceased got COVID-19 and after that, he developed a lung problem.

His condition deteriorated over the last 20 days. Hence, they had to admit him to the ICU. His kidneys and heart were also damaged resulting in multiorgan failure.

Meanwhile, the Indian Film TV Producers Council expressed condolences that the famous Hero producer Dhirajlal Shah has died. They posted a photo of Dhirajlal and wrote it is deeply saddening news that Mr. Dhirajlal Nanji Shah Ji, the owner of Apna Cinema and Time Video has passed away. Their heartfelt sympathies are to their family and loved ones. Om Shanti (Rest in Peace).

According to the Times of India, Anil Sharma stated Dhirajlal was a good producer and a lovely soul. He developed a video universe that was quite groundbreaking. They will miss him.

Moreover, producer Harish Sughand said Dhirajlal brought the video rights of Shahenshah which changed his life and made him the video king. He held the rights practically to all films.

Dhirajlal rose to fame due to his film production The Hero: Love Story of a Spy (2003). It starred Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, and Priyanka Chopra. He was also a producer on the 1996 film Krishna. Suneil Shetty and Karishma Kapoor co-starred in this film.

Dhirajlal also produced the 1995 film Gambler which starred Govinda, Shilpa Shetty, and Aditya Pancholi. He produced another notable film Vijapath in 1994. Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Danny Denzongoa starred in it. All these films left a long-lasting impact on Bollywood and his fans are recalling his contributions to the film industry.

His wife, Manju Dhiraj Shah, and two children, Shital Punit Goel, and Sapna Dhiraj Shah belong to him. His son, Jimit Shah, and a daughter-in-law, Poonam Shah are also among them.
