The famous “Jurassic Park” actor Sam Neill shares an update on his blood cancer fight as he is being treated for third-stage blood cancer.

Doctors have warned Neill that his cancer treatment drug will stop working at some point. He provided health after revealing that he was diagnosed with stage III blood cancer.

Jurassic star revealed about his cancer treatment in his memoir Did I Ever Tell You This which was released earlier this year. He shared that at that time he had undergone chemotherapy which stopped working soon. Afterward, he went after an experimental anti-cancer drug. He revealed it during an interview with ABC News’ Australian Story.

Neill shared that he has increased his dosage of the “grim and depressing” drug from once a month to every two weeks. However, he said, he has now been in remission for 12 months. He said he is prepared and he is not “remotely afraid of death.”

Neill said that he first found lumps in his neck in early 2022. Soon he realized that he had cancer.

Furthermore, he shared that he started to look at his life and realize how immensely grateful he is for so much of it. He started to think he better write some of this down. Because he is not sure how long he has to live.

Sam Neill is a well-known New Zealand actor who performed in leading roles in both dramas and blockbusters. He has served the entertainment industry for about 53 years.
