The representatives of Jamie have not commented on this alleged matter despite being asked by media reporters. However, the identity of the woman is hidden in the lawsuit.

What is a lawsuit against Jamie Foxx?

The lawsuit states that the victim was seated at a table next to Mr. Foxx when the attack allegedly took place on August 26, 2015, at approximately 1:00 in the morning at Catch NYC.

According to the lawsuit, the actor seemed drunk when he agreed to a picture, stating, “Sure, baby, anything for you.” It goes on to say that he said the woman smelt “so good” and had a “supermodel body”.

The woman alleges that after dragging her by the arm to the back of a rooftop, Foxx put both of his hands on her waist, moved them under her shirt, and started touching her breasts.

The lawsuit also seeks damages from restaurant and bar owner Mark Birnbaum, who the accuser claims was sitting with Mr Foxx soon before the alleged assault.

According to the lawsuit, Mr. Mark and the restaurant’s workers violated their duty of care to the victim by neglecting to safeguard her.

The lawsuit states that the woman suffered and continues to suffer from extreme mental distress and anxiety, shame, embarrassment, and post-traumatic stress disorder. As well as other physical and emotional damages as a result of the “heinous acts.”

The legal action comes just days before the New York Adult Survivors Act expires on November 24. It allows alleged victims of sex crimes to sue after the statute of limitations has expired.
