Roxanne Perez won NXT Women’s Championship at No Mercy 2024
WWE Star Roxanne Perez won the NXT Women’s Championship against Jaida Parker at No Mercy Premium Live Event 2024. NXT is the name of a professional wrestling brand and television program owned by WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment).
Roxanne has continued her incredible winning streak by securing the NXT Championship. Her win came after rival Jaida had defeated a challenge match last week to take the lead in the NXT Women’s Championship.
Regarding the latest development, Roxanne and Jaida finally faced off inside the squared circle at NXT No Mercy after a violent fight backstage. Jaida physically hit and slapped Roxanne before the match started.
However, Roxanne got off to a great start in the fight while focusing on Jaida Parker’s broken ribs. Despite this, Jaida quickly gained the upper hand. Both celebrities put on an amazing fight activity in the battle ring.
The turning moment in this match came when Roxanne Perez hit Jaida with a Pop Rox and fell. Eventually, Roxanne Perez won the NXT Women’s Championship at No Mercy 2024.
This became a historic win for Roxanne as she retained her eight-month winning streak in singles. She faced Canadian professional wrestler Ariane Grace in a televised WWE NXT singles on Jan 2, 2024. However, Ariane beat Roxanne and this was her only loss in a televised match.
Since then, 22-year-old Roxanne has become one of the most prominent stars on WWE’s show. She has already won several titles including the recent NXT Women’s Championship twice.
Her original name is Carla Gonzalez but she signed with WWE in 2022 and adopted the ring name Roxanne Perez to perform for NXT brand.
She is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion with Cora Jade, the US professional wrestler. She has gained training from Booker T, Daga, and WWE Performance Center.
