Rishabh Pant to resume cricket career at IPL 2024 after car crash
Delhi Capital’s star Rishabh Pant is set to resume his cricket career in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 after a car crash incident. He is preparing for his much-awaited return to cricket after fourteen months of surviving a life-threatening car accident.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has cleared Rishabh to play in the next IPL. The decision of Rishabh Pant to resume his cricket career marks a big step forward in the amazing rehabilitation path.
His right knee required ligament repair surgery while a car accident damaged his wrist, leg, and ankle. Even doctors recommended that leg amputation (cut off) for him to recover.
It is a miracle that he can now play cricket after going through so much. He is grateful to everyone who has supported him, especially the BCCI and NCA (National Cricket Academy) staff.
Rishabh expressed gratitude for all the love and support, which continues to give him enormous strength. He said he can’t wait to reunite with his DC (Delhi Capital) family and play in front of the fans again.
Rishabh said he was excited and nervous at the same time. It feels like he is going to make his debut again. He sustained severe injuries as a result of the accident, which occurred in December 2022 when he was driving to his home in Roorke.

Rishabh has played 33 Tests, 30 ODIs, and 66 T20 Internationals for India. His fans and cricket enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for his comeback.
As Rishabh prepares to play for the Delhi Capitals, his comeback shows his commitment, drive, and unshakable love for cricket.
