British YouTuber Daniel Jarvis, a prankster sparks Cricket World Cup 2023 security fear in India during a match on Oct 8, 2023. Jarvis breached heavy security and broke into the field during the Cricket World Cup 2023 match between India and Australia.

He shocked the crowd of more than 30,000 present at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium after his invasion in an ongoing match. He wore a blue India team shirt with “Jarvo 69” written on the back. The Indian Cricket Team, Virat Kohli, appeared to have talked with him before security took him away.

Daniel has become a serial pitch invader. He had also invaded the field three times during the home test series of England against India in 2021. He inflicted with unlawful entry charges after colliding with an England Cricket player, Jonny Bairstow at the Oval.

In this regard, Wisden Cricket Journalist, Ben Gardner raised a question about Jarvis’ getting a visa when not a single Pakistani journalist has one in his tweet.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) says they will consider if additional security measures are needed to prevent it from happening again. ICC released this statement in regard to Prankster Daniel Jarvis sparks Cricket World Cup 2023 security fear in India.

The Indian authorities have banned Jarvis from attending any further games at the Cricket World Cup 2023 tournament. And his matter is in the hands of Indian officials now.

While Pakistan’s media and fans have been facing delays in obtaining visas, Jarvis continuously breached protocols and was able to enter the stadium easily. Pakistani fans have real concerns over the Indian authorities over the visa delays.
