Manish Narwal won India’s fourth medal at 2024 Paris Paralympics
Manish Narwal won India’s fourth medal by winning a silver in the 10m air pistol SH1 event at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. He won a silver in the 10m after winning his gold medal in the mixed 50m pistol at the Tokyo Paralympics.
Manish came in second place losing to Jeongdu Jo of South Korea. Jeongdu won the gold medal by securing the first spot. However, Yang Chao of China lost to Manish and secured a bronze medal.
Manish was constantly in the running for the top spot on the stage, but he appeared to lose momentum in his final six shots. He scored 8.9 and 9.9 and only shot above 10 once with a 10.1 score in the significant gold shootout.
However, Jeongdu came under pressure but surprisingly managed to shoot an amazing 10.8 score and then an 8.7. It was enough to secure the gold medal for him.
Manish Narwal won India’s fourth medal at the Paris Paralympics after Avani Lekhara who started by winning her second straight gold medal in the 10m air gun event.
