The Great batsman of New Zealand Kane Williamson won’t play against England in World Cup 2023. It is the first match of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. between England and New Zealand. It’s tragic news for the New Zealand supporters as Kane Williamson is an important batsman for New Zealand.
Kane Williamson is suffering from a Knee Injury. And his recovery is taking time due to which he is not able to play the World Cup’s first match. “We won’t put any pressure on him for any matches until we find he is ready himself for the matches,” said, coach Gary Stead.
The 33-year-old star batsman suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in April which makes him unfit to play against England in the World Cup’s first match on 5th October.
Kane Williamson is the captain of the New Zealand Team and a great opener to the New Zealand team. He played both of the warm-up matches in Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram but unfortunately, Kane Williamson won’t play against England in World Cup 2023
