Inter-College Ramadan T20 Cup 2024 to begin today in Lahore
The inaugural Inter-College Ramadan T20 Cup 2024 is expected to begin tonight in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. However, the later stages of this tournament will begin in Islamabad and Karachi on March 23, 2024.
The chairman of PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board), Mohsin Naqvi will attend the opening ceremony of Inter-College Ramadan T20 Cup 2024 at Gaddafi Stadium. Mr. Mohsin Naqvi will present the trophy and deliver a speech to the audience.
However, 21 matches of this tournament will be held in Lahore which national television PTV sports will televise live. It will provide players with exposure to competitive cricket.
Meanwhile, CricHQ will feature bally-by-ball live scorecards for the whole tournament. CricHQ is a digital platform for sports. It combines competition management and administration software with live scoring and statistics for cricket clubs.
Participating teams will use the home and away changing rooms at the Gaddafi Stadium, which is also the headquarters of the Pakistan Cricket Board. The dedicated staff of the stadium will take care of the wickets for the tournament.
Additionally, PCB has authorized free access for viewers to watch the games and the Fazal Mahmood enclosure will open an hour before the game begins.

The tournament’s second phase will begin on March 23 at Miusam Cricket Ground in Islamabad. It will start at Eid Gah Ground Nazimabad and IBA Karachi University Ground in Karachi.
About thirty colleges will participate in the Inter-College Ramadan T20 Cup tournament. By launching this tournament, PCB aims to popularize the game among students while searching for fresh potential for future cricketers.
The Lahore Regional Cricket Association (LRCA), Karachi Regional Cricket Association (KRCA), and Islamabad Regional Cricket Association (IRCA) are regional bodies that helped PCB to organize this tournament. An organizing committee of members from these three regions will run these tournaments.
